SANTA FE’S NUMBER ONE LESSON PROGRAM
At The Trinity Ranch, we believe in giving our students the opportunity to learn from safe, kind, educated schoolmasters. Riders should have the chance to learn from exceptionally proven lesson horses to build confidence, a deeper connection, increased skill and more opportunities for riding time and partnership.
Alana, Arthur, Carmen, Cruz, Dally, Dex, Elf, & Lark are special - perfect at helping our beginner and novice riders get started under saddle- each with an impressive show record to help develop more advanced riders ready to enhance their skills! We search high and low across the United State to find horses that meet our high standards in terms of education, experience, temperament, character, and soundness. They are worth their weight in gold! 🏆
Our horses receive top-of-the-line care: daily grooming, blanketing, turnout, trail rides in addition to arena time, premium feeds, farrier, and vet care. They deserve and get the best 👑
One of the benefits of riding at Trinity is that in addition to having a large outdoor arena and a USDF regulation-sized Dressage arena, we have an indoor arena- inclement weather doesn’t slow us down ❄️

Meet Lark ❤️
Lark is a beautiful 16.1h AQHA/ABRA/IBHA Buckskin Mare. She is perfect for both our advancing youth riders and has a lot of refinement to teach our more experienced riders. Lark attracts a crowd wherever she goes: she has been featured in photo shoots and handpicked to model by artists who are drawn to her unique blue eye.
A true all-around, Lark does whatever she is asked. She has been shown in western pleasure, hunt seat, and even speed events. She has extensive professional training in dressage as well. Lark is an OPEN ALL-AROUND WORLD CHAMPION, RESERVE WORLD CHAMPION, and CONGRESS CHAMPION. She has also shown to 3x Top 10 at the Western Dressage World Championship. Lark has earned over 600 points showing.
We used to own Lark’s mother… so this is a special addition to our program. Her bloodlines have generations of World Champions. It’s no surprise that she lived up to her potential in the show ring and is now ready to pay it forward teaching our students.

Meet Alana ❤️
Our newest addition is a majestic 17h dark bay overo mare. Not only is she tall, but she has tremendous bone and structure. We cannot decide if we are more impressed with Alana’s gentle, kind nature or her automatic “rocky horse” canter. Everyone stops what they are doing to watch Alana enter the ring.
Alana joined our program with hopes of teaching Pierce the ropes in the hunter on the flat arena for the summer of 2025. She did not disappoint! Alana and Pierce walked out of the Pinto World Championship Show with 2 World Championships, 1 Reserve World Championship and a Top 10 placing in various Hunter events. We look forward to developing Alana both over fences and by introducing her to Western Dressage, where we know she will succeed.
Trinity Ranch look forward to bringing Alana into our lesson program and finding the perfect lease student to be her partner going forward ❤️

Meet Dex ❤️
Dex is a tall, dark and handsome 16.2h Blue Roan Gelding.
Bought by Cat as a two year old, Dex was running wild on 10,000 acres. He then began an 8+ year training process of progressing through the snaffle bit, hackamore, two rein, and into the spade. Dex is a true bridle horse, a work of art.
Dex is a Renaissance man. He has climbed mountains, crossed the dessert, roped and branded, moved thousands of cattle, competed in timed sorting events, started colts, taught clinics. He’s now a WORLD CHAMPION AND RESERVE WORLD CHAMPION in Western Dressage.
Dex is a true gift to our students of every level ❤️

Meet Carmen San Diego ❤️
The Trinity Ranch is proud to welcome Carmen, a fancy APHA/PtHA overo mare. Carmen is a dream horse. In addition to being exceptionally trained, she may be the sweetest mare we have ever met!
Carmen was named the 2021 Pinto World Championship High Point 10 & Under horse by winning three Reserve World Championship awared and many Top 5 and Top 10’s. She also had multiple Top 10’s at the 2021 APHA World Show. Carmen is also both a CONGRESS and RESERVE CONGRESS Champion. She has earned multiple year end national titles and over 5,000 APHA and PtHA points in Open, Amateur, and Youth events combined. She has an ultra-smooth jog that is easy to sit.

Meet Arthur ❤️
The Trinity Ranch is proud to welcome Arthur, an All Time Fancy APHA/PtHA overo gelding! Arthur is a gentleman in every sense of the word; he is our Cary Grant! He is a beautiful, balanced mover. He has a toe-pointing trot and very natural self-carriage and cadence at the canter.
Arthur traveled to the 2025 Pinto World Championship Show with the Trinity Show Team where Arthur and our student Martha walked away with both WORLD CHAMPION and RESERVE WORLD CHAMPION titles in Western Dressage. We are SO proud of you both for all of your hard work, preparation, and dedication!

Meet Cruz ❤️
The Trinity Ranch is proud to welcome An Impulse to Breath, an AQHA/PHBA/ABRA/PtHA gelding! Cruz is Mr. Hollywood, and he knows it! He has a beautiful palomino flowing mane and tail that makes him look like a Barbie horse. Personality-wise, Cruz is the barn jokester: has a great sense of humor!
Cruz traveled to the 2025 Pinto World Championship Show with the Trinity Show Team. Congratulations to Sophia and Cruz on your 2025 OPEN RESERVE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in Western Dressage.
Cruz is leased by Kelly. We are happy for both of them!
Meet Elf ❤️
The Trinity Ranch is proud to introduce TTR Princess Elf, a beautiful Registered Welsh Section B Pony.
Elf is perfect for both our youth riders and even our petite adults! She has years of professional training, is a personality plus, and is a very typey model Welsh/unicorn dream pony. Elf has been shown at intro level dressage with a youth rider and has a lovely shoulder in/more advanced movements with a knowledgeable adult.
Elf is on loan to us from Pierce Parks who received her as a birthday present for his 8th birthday and has outgrown her. Prior to that, she belonged to another child. Elf is a unicorn ❤️
